How We Started

After working in the multifamily and real estate investment arenas for more than 30 years, David Mullin and John Chase founded The Apartment Company in 1993. They believe in purchasing B and C class multifamily properties, renovating them and managing them for the long term which offers an infinite ROI — the opportunity to “get rich slow” while creating thriving communities for tenants. Over the years, this strategy has proven to be very successful. Today, Mullin’s and Chase’s children are in charge. Like their fathers, they don’t just manage other people’s money — but are personally invested in the company.
